1st & Bit: College Football

By davde

Coach a college American football team, plan during the week and call plays on game day in this game still in development.

1st & Bit: College Football puts you in charge of a college American football team. The appeal lies in drawing up a plan and watching your team respond on the field. Sports-management fans looking to read the flow of offense and defense in another sport may want to follow this game by davde.

Prepare during the week and make decisions on game day

The current official page describes a cycle of setting the lineup, planning practice, recruiting players and working with the coaching staff. On game day, you can call plays yourself or delegate to assistants, then watch the results on a 3D field. Your planning carries through into the match.

For tactically minded players, the appeal is reviewing whether the result matched the plan and adjusting the lineup next time. The game is still in development, though. Interest in the concept should be kept separate from conclusions about balance or system depth, neither of which was tested for this introduction.

Check the version and platform before starting

As of 11 October 2026, the official page lists a Windows installer numbered 0.1.2 and a macOS build numbered 0.1.1. The stated requirements are 64-bit Windows or macOS on Apple Silicon M1 or later, with Thai and English support. A free Windows demo covers one exhibition match. The main build is described as supporting season play, with systems and save files still being adjusted.

The original post introduced a web-based Match Play demo, but its old link now returns a page-not-found response. This article therefore links to the current download page. The developer says the files are not digitally signed, so read the details before downloading. No game files were downloaded or installed, and the game was not played for this introduction.
