Moss & Mallow
By Moss & Mallow
Moss & Mallow is a browser farming game in Beta, combining seasonal crops and egg-hatched Mallow companions with fishing, bug catching, mining and village festivals. Thai and English are supported.
Moss & Mallow is a pixel-art browser farming game in Beta. GameSlash’s session started inside a wooden farmhouse with a bed, fireplace, table and bookshelves. Outside was a green farm with pink-blossomed trees, paths and ground still dotted with stones and fallen branches.
Resuming the existing save preserved the planted plot, nine seeds, the 1/5 planting objective and 500 coins. We then entered the actual farmhouse, with its fireplace, bed, chest, bookshelves and table. The interior image adds another part of the farm’s atmosphere; it is not evidence of tested companion care.

Till, plant and water—one step at a time
In our session, using the hoe created a brown tilled plot. We selected turnip seeds and planted one: the stack fell from 10 to 9, and the planting objective moved from 0/5 to 1/5. Switching to the watering can and using it on the plot reduced the water supply from 20 to 19 and darkened the wet soil. The opening routine makes the effect of selecting and using each tool visible.

The first egg still needs time
A Mallow egg appeared with a hatching countdown; it was still counting down during the test. We did not observe it hatch or test feeding or playing with a Mallow during this session. The companion-care features below are attributed to the developer rather than presented as post-hatching hands-on results.
Life beyond the vegetable beds
The developer describes fishing, bug catching, foraging and mining. Finds can be sold, donated to the museum, cooked or used in crafting, alongside home and farm decoration. Village shops have opening hours, neighbours follow routines, and seasonal festivals bring them together.
Mystery eggs and farm companions
According to the developer, players feed, pet, play with and train their Mallows. A selected companion follows the player while the others stay in areas of the farm, making companion care part of the routine alongside crops and exploration.
Still in Beta
The website lists browser play on phones and computers, Thai and English language options, and online saves. The developer warns that saves may break or be lost during Beta, and recommends keeping the save code and periodically exporting a save file.
