AAKOM II: Beyond the Veil
By Suwat Pongtaweechaiwattana / kohsija
An auto-firing survival game from kohsija, built around movement, upgrades and creatures drawn from international folklore.
AAKOM II: Beyond the Veil follows Kom, a spellbound hunter, beyond Thailand into supernatural folklore from other regions. Created by kohsija, credited as Suwat Pongtaweechaiwattana, it is a bullet-heaven survival game: weapons fire automatically while the player handles movement and upgrade choices.

Black Hollow Village places a chapel, crypt and paths among approaching monsters. Automatic attacks leave room to focus on finding safer space and collecting experience along the way, framed by a dark, cursed-village atmosphere.

The developer lists 17 weapons and 17 evolutions across four realms inspired by Eastern European, Egyptian, Japanese and Celtic–Germanic legends. Between-run upgrades add another layer to the build choices. The appeal is the combination of crowd navigation and deciding how an arsenal develops.
The developer describes browser support for computers and mobile devices. Move with WASD, arrow keys or touch-drag controls; use 1–4 for upgrade cards and Space or Esc to pause. Progress is stored in the browser, and clearing site data can erase it.
The itch.io listing is marked Released, while its description says development continues. Its AI disclosure lists assistance with code, graphics, sounds and text. The creator offers it as a free browser game.
This first look covers Kom in early Black Hollow Village; further realms, bosses and long-term progression are described from the developer’s information.
