Aethel Online

By Bundit Onumphai

Browser-based RPG with Auto Quest for continuous questing and combat. Starts at Southern Beach with collectible items and equipment along the way.

Aethel Online by Bundit Onumphai is a browser-based RPG where adventure begins on the Southern Beach. Early quests are located near the starting point, and Auto Quest allows the character to hunt monsters, collect rewards, and level up automatically. During our play session, the character progressed from level 1 to level 4 before stopping to open the inventory and examine collected items.

Start at the beach, accept the quest, and immediately see the target.

The character starts near Old Fisherman on the beach, with HP, MP, EXP, a minimap, and skills visible. Claiming Chapter 1-1 raised money from 500 to 550 G and EXP to 80/100. Chapter 1-2, Mischievous Ghost Crabs, then opened with a goal of defeating 10 ghost crabs. Progress was 0/10 and Auto Quest was still off.

Auto Quest leads continuous questing and combat.

When Auto Quest is enabled, the character moves and fights autonomously on the beach. The screen displays locked targets, damage numbers, skill cooldowns, and gold/EXP gains received. During combat, the character levels up to 2 with 136/230 HP, 20/44 MP, and quest progress reaches 9/10. The system awards rewards and automatically continues the quest until Chapter 1-5 and Level 4 before we stop it.

Items in the bag after completing quests

After pausing Auto Quest, we opened the Inventory alongside the Character & Equipment window, revealing 2,974 G, 405 Health Potions, 404 Mana Potions, 4 Eggs, and 12 Tome Fragments. The character has equipment occupying multiple slots and displays combat power of 594. The bag is categorized into Equip, Use, Material, and Quest tabs for selection.

The screen becomes cluttered when multiple panels are opened.

Auto Quest helps reduce repetitive tapping and allows early-game quests to progress faster. The HP, MP, and battle log bars help track results while characters are attacking. At a screen resolution of 1180×757 pixels, the quest panel, chat, map, and equipment window occupy considerable space. When the inventory is opened along with status attributes, parts of the panel require scrolling. Switching between windows one at a time is more convenient for viewing.

The creator's post mentions auto-farming, PvP/PK, parties, dungeons, and a downloadable version with TaskBar mode and offline farming, distinguishing new update images from the playable alpha. This review covers web ep3 Guest play from the beach through Chapter 1-5, plus inventory and stats. Selling or dismantling items, comparing gear sets, the other advertised systems, and late-game content remain untested.
