Little Wat

By Dat.Game / Kompoj Nimnual

A Thai temple-building sim connecting monks, temple helpers and village life, with a Windows demo and developer-credited AI production tools.

Little Wat by Dat.Game builds its simulation around a small Thai temple and the community nearby. In his October 16, 2026 introduction, creator Kompoj Nimnual describes a solo-developed Simulation / City Builder in which players become a young monk establishing a temple on riverside land, looking after villagers and temple helpers along the way.

Start with one monk and a riverside plot

The official itch.io page describes building monks’ quarters, gathering halls and a kitchen with help from the temple boys. Each building serves monks or villagers, while morning alms rounds connect the temple’s food supply to the surrounding community.

According to the developer, caring for individual villages builds faith. Monks have their own names and talents, and newcomers ask to stay for the rainy-season retreat.

A year of Thai festivals

The official demo description lists nine merit-making festivals across the Thai year, including Songkran, Visakha Bucha and Loy Krathong. Floods, droughts and visits from wandering monks bring other events, with an elder monk guiding players as they learn.

The developer says the demo covers the first era, takes about an hour and supports Thai and English.

One developer, with AI-assisted production

Kompoj Nimnual says he designs the systems and makes the development decisions. The official page credits PixelLab for art, ElevenLabs for music and sound, and Claude for code and text, with the developer selecting and editing the results by hand.

Find the Windows demo

The listing shows LittleWat_Demo_0.1.1_Windows.zip at 52 MB. Its stated requirements are 64-bit Windows 10/11, 4 GB RAM and graphics support for OpenGL 3.3 or DirectX 11. The itch.io page marks the game as in development.
