CaretType
By Phurin Taengsriwan
A browser typing game about catching falling words, building combos and protecting five ink drops, with Thai, English, number and code sets.
CaretType, also called caret, turns typing practice into a game of catching words as they fall across a paper-like page. Creator Phurin Taengsriwan cites Monkeytype as an inspiration, adding arcade pressure: finish each word before it reaches the bottom margin.
A spare page with a rhythm to follow

The retained wave-one capture shows five ink drops at the bottom, combo progress of 2/20 at the right and a +20 ink-burst effect in the play area. The spare paper background makes the red feedback stand out. This is not a finished-run score or evidence of testing every mode.
The official description says correct keys push the target word back up, mistakes reduce combo, and a word reaching the margin costs one of five ink drops. Combo can climb to ×10. Difficulty changes pace and crowding rather than selecting the word set.
Choose what to practise
The creator's guide lists English, Thai, numbers and JavaScript or Python syntax, including punctuation variants. Guest runs stay on the device; an account supports cross-device records and standings. These are documented features, not a claim that every language, difficulty or account system was tested.
The retained test record covers starting Ink Invaders without sign-in and entering letters briefly. This introduction combines that saved image with official information checked on 31 October 2026. No new run was played and no competitive result against other players is claimed.
