By Godot GdUnit Labs

Test Godot scripts and scenes with simulated input and HTML/JUnit reports. Supports GDScript and C# through GdUnit4Net.

repo

Start: Install from Godot AssetLib, activate the plugin and restart the editor. Create a test from a script function, replace the generated placeholder with assertions, and run it in GdUnit Inspector. Use Scene Runner for input-driven scene checks and the CLI for HTML/JUnit XML reports.

Limits: GdUnit4 v6.x requires Godot 4.5 or later. C# setup uses GdUnit4Net, and C# test debugging requires an external IDE. Documentation reviewed; not runtime-tested.
