Xsolla announced on October 29, 2026 how its acquisition of GamePix will connect browser-game publishing with global payments, including a route to market for games built with AI. The acquisition itself was not completed on October 29: Xsolla says GamePix had been part of the group since August 2026.

Why it matters for people who build games with AI

Making a playable game with a coding assistant is only one step. A creator still needs somewhere to host it, players who can find it, and a way to receive payments. Xsolla's announcement describes a route through GamePix's browser-games distribution and Xsolla's commerce services. The company says creators can connect through AI creation tools and publish games with distribution and payments configured.

What actually changes

GamePix publishes games that run in a browser, so players can try them without installing a separate app. Xsolla says the platform has over 10,000 web games and a community of over 4,000 developers. Those numbers describe the whole catalogue and community, not a count of AI-created games or monthly active users. Xsolla says its payments infrastructure spans more than 200 geographies and more than 1,000 local payment methods.

What beginners should know before publishing

This is a business and distribution announcement, not an AI tool that creates a game from one prompt. GamePix also describes a conversion process for certain PC or mobile games so they can run on the web, but creators should check the actual submission, compatibility, approval and payment requirements for their own projects. The announcement does not establish that every AI-made game will be accepted or will earn money.
