An MCP bridge and agent workflows for drawing, editing and animating directly in Aseprite, with review and export steps.
The published quickstart requires Aseprite 1.3+ and Node.js 22.6+. Install the extension with npx @pebbly/aseprite-ai-artist install-extension, restart Aseprite, then connect the selected agent. The Codex example uses npx @pebbly/aseprite-ai-artist install codex; restart the agent and run doctor.
Begin with one sprite edit or short animation and inspect it before exporting. Live edits are undoable in Aseprite. Aseprite and the AI client are separate prerequisites; documented workflows are not a guarantee of art quality.
