The Lands is a pixel-art political satire and simulation from Thai rapper P9d1. Create a politician and climb from local politics toward the premiership, choosing whether to help the public or take a more questionable path.

In our initial test, the game ran in a browser and let us create a character, name a party, choose a home province and select a background, including a former teacher, political dynasty heir or political influencer. Each starts with different advantages. The city screen shows a pixel-art map, money, energy and popularity, alongside menus for politics, events and assets.

The in-game guide describes helping residents, campaigning and running in elections; choices such as buying votes and accepting under-the-table money carry risks. There is a lot to take in early on, so learning the menus takes time. The long-term systems need further play before we can assess them.

The game is free on itch.io and remains in development. Its creator discloses AI assistance in code, graphics, sound and text. The game labels itself 18+ for satirical content involving drugs, weapons, gambling and violence.
