Start as a newcomer in Crownmere, then choose a path as a Warrior, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Archer or Fighter. Sigil Online brings its pixel-fantasy world to the browser, with monster hunting, equipment collection and party adventures at its heart.
Begin in Crownmere
The starting town places NPCs around a fountain and stone-paved walkways. Click the ground to move, or use the quest panel’s Go button to travel toward an objective. Beyond town, Greenmeadow trades the stone plaza for grass and woodland, with mushroom-like monsters and wild boars near its paths.
From Novice to a chosen profession
The official website explains that players begin as a Novice and select a career path at Job 10. The roles range from frontline warriors and ranged spellcasters to priests focused on healing and buffs. The developer advertises 19 professions when their later advancement stages are included.
Crownmere is the starting point before the journey expands into grasslands, forests, deserts and other regions. The advertised systems include monster cards, equipment upgrades, evolving skills and monster companions. Parties, boss hunts, guilds and player markets add a social side for players who enjoy gradually shaping a character through their profession and equipment choices.
Browser access during Closed Beta
The game offers a guest route without registration, alongside user-account and Google options. Its website advertises PC and mobile support, with auto-farming and automatic quest navigation.
The latest official announcement, dated 19 October 2026, says Closed Beta Test is open. Characters, levels, items and crystals are due to be wiped when CBT ends, so this is a testing phase rather than a permanent progression period.
How it was made
In the creator’s introduction, Rinrypkt Pkt describes a JavaScript game rendered with HTML5 Canvas 2D. The creator says Claude Code assisted with roughly 95% of the code, while Codex produced around 90% of the character and environment imagery, followed by animation with AutoSprite. Those proportions are the creator’s own estimates. Audio is described separately as free sound packs and personally selected music, without AI-generated audio.
