NVIDIA has announced an October 23, 2026 release date for Nemotron 3.5 Bolt E4B 4GB, which it describes as a third-generation small language model intended for ACE game characters. The release schedule is in its October 13 RTX software announcement. The model is not yet generally available, and no independent gaming benchmarks were provided.

A smaller local model for interactive characters

ACE covers conversational intelligence, in-game actions and character presentation. NVIDIA's developer documentation describes tools for connecting local language-model responses and contextual game state. A 4GB model is potentially useful when a team needs a lower-memory runtime, but memory size alone does not establish the game's frame rate, latency, accuracy or required GPU.

The SDK and the language model are different components

NVIDIA ACE resources include an Unreal Engine integration, Game Agent SDK and In-Game Inferencing SDK. A developer still needs to connect the model, dialogue and relevant gameplay systems. NVIDIA's announced release does not mean it has already been integrated into particular commercial games.

NVIDIA lists October 23 as the target release date. GameSlash has not tested the model and does not infer a supported-hardware list or benchmark score from the 4GB designation. For developers planning a local-NPC integration, the next verifiable details will be the published model files and compatibility documentation.
