Badminton Training League
By Nitipong Num
A browser badminton career game with four-week training plans, footwork minigames and sporting and life stats to follow from childhood.
Badminton Training League is a browser game about developing a badminton player’s career. Players begin with a young athlete, work through monthly plans and track progress through sporting attributes and life stats. Creator Nitipong Num describes it as a story RPG, with the opening focused on training and character development.
Start at the community court
Players can name their athlete and start without signing up. The ordinary-child background begins at age 10 in the U11 division, based at a community court. The career screen shows age, level, EXP and energy alongside the current month and a summary of recent activities, keeping the athlete’s progress on the main screen.

A weekly training schedule
Each monthly plan is divided into four weeks. The initial plan places footwork first, followed by clear-shot practice, distance running and rest. A star marks the main training week, which leads into a minigame. Each month therefore combines checking the training schedule with carrying out a drill.
At the end of the month, the game summarizes how many weeks went to training and rest, then shows the attribute gains. The initial plan improved accuracy, speed and stamina before advancing to the next month. This summary makes it possible to see which abilities developed under the previous schedule.
Footwork drills and timing
The drills encountered include a four-corner court with inputs prompted by the coach, and a six-corner court where players tap illuminated positions in sequence. Inputs must fall within the allotted timing window. A completed drill displays a grade and training multiplier before its result is saved into the monthly cycle.

Sporting ability and life stats
Sporting attributes cover speed, power, stamina, accuracy, net play and focus. A separate group tracks school, family, friendship, long-term health and sportsmanship. The career screen gives players several parts of their athlete’s development to follow alongside the character’s level.
The opening will suit players who enjoy developing a character through training schedules and reviewing progress month by month. The career screen also includes tournaments and a player-duel menu, though neither was tested.
