Bot Colony _redux releases new gameplay clip before Early Access launch on October 30.

North Side Inc. released a gameplay and cinematic compilation for Bot Colony _redux on October 9, 2026, reaffirming Steam Early Access for October 30. This sci-fi adventure lets players talk to robots by microphone or text to investigate spies.

The player character is hired by the Nakagawa Robotics company to investigate an intruder on Agrihan Island. Conversing with robots serves as a means to gather information and advance the story. Developers have stated that characters possess distinct personalities and motivations, and some objectives require specific dialogue choices to persuade conversation partners.

The conversation system supports referring to objects in a 3D scene, allowing users to instruct the robot to pick up or manipulate items using natural language. The game integrates North Side's language understanding technology with ChatGPT and a voice system, supporting multilingual conversations.

Start playing for free, but conversations have a quota.

Upon launch, the game will operate on a Free to Start model. Players will receive an initial amount of LEKS to begin conversations with characters. Once the provided LEKS are exhausted, additional LEKS can be purchased via Steam to continue playing. Since generating responses consumes cloud resources, interested players should review these terms before starting.
