Bubble Boom Brawl

Bubble Boom Brawl is a water bomb placement game on a grid field, which the developer says was inspired by Bomberman. Characters run through passages between walls and gift boxes. There are both multiplayer rooms and options to play against bots.

Organize your room and select skills before starting.

Before entering the match to select maps and play styles (free-for-all or team-based), the lobby features player slots, a bot add button, and a skill set selection including active and passive abilities. The example shown in the lobby is throwing and kicking grenades, which are bound to buttons Q and E respectively.

View escape routes and storable items

Press Space to deploy water bombs; when they burst, they spread in a cross shape, destroying gift boxes but leaving walls intact. Players hit by water become covered in bubbles, move slower, and cannot place bombs. Teammates can touch them to help them break free. The objective is to survive until you are the last one remaining.

Arena items increase the number of bombs you can place at once, the reach of the water blast, and movement speed. Counters on the side show these alongside the round’s remaining time. Before placing a bomb, leave yourself an escape route out of its water blast.

Open beta on the web

The website features a Guest entry option where players can set their names before starting. The developer shares that AI was used to help develop the game and is open to feedback during testing. Room details and skills may change with updates.
