Bumper Circuit
By Maru&Mani Studio
A turn-based fighting game where you assemble a team of three Bumpers and aim to shoot them into opponents, combining angle-bouncing mechanics with unique skills, plus a Rush Time mechanic that adds pressure in the final moments of each match.
Bumper Circuit is a turn-based fighting game where you form a team of three characters in round cars, then aim and shoot your car to crash into opponents. The pixelated graphics and top-down view make both teams' positions clearly visible. Each turn requires you to consider angle, force, and timing while using skills, and you can also use walls as bounce paths to reach your target.
Select skill and then aim shooting angle
Before shooting, select the desired Bumper and ready skill, then adjust the angle and power to suit the position on the field. The game supports both mouse drag-back-and-release and keyboard-based angle and power adjustments. The rule to remember is that skills can be used at most once per turn, and once a skill is confirmed, you must shoot with that Bumper; therefore, you should consider both the skill and the shooting angle together.

Team role matters more than attack power.
Characters are divided into Damage, Tank, and Support roles, making the choice of who to shoot involve considerations of health and unique abilities. Examples seen early on include Aquadove's Healing Tide, which restores teammates’ HP, and Shellboar's Braced Charge, which grants armor. Having a support or tank character thus adds options for sustaining the team while waiting for an opportunity to attack.

Rush Time makes it harder to sustain a fight for longer.
Upon entering Rush Time, speed and damage increase, while both teams' health decreases at the end of each side’s turn. The in-game description states that this damage bypasses armor defense, creating pressure to choose advantageous shots before your team loses more health. Each shot thus carries a health cost proportional to the number of rounds. Missed shots result in greater lost opportunities during this period.

Team upgrades between fights
After winning the first phase of combat, a Bumper unlock page appears, allowing you to select upgrades for your team before proceeding. The official game page states that each run consists of eight battles, including two boss encounters, with selectable stages featuring different obstacles. This necessitates both mid-run team adjustments and adapting shooting angles to fit each stage.
For players who enjoy planning their aim
The highlight of Bumper Circuit is that field position and skill influence shot selection, making it suitable for players who enjoy turn-based gameplay and want to try calculating bounce angles themselves. The aspect that requires getting used to is reading shot power and skill conditions, as selecting a skill prevents switching characters during that turn. This opinion is based on the first match in Sunstone Court until passing the fight.
The game is playable in a web browser without requiring an account. The game page states it is designed for computers, supports Thai and English, and saves progress in the browser. Users who switch devices should note that the SEED roster carries over unlocked character names, but overall progress does not transfer with SEED.
