Chaos Cards
By Suwat Pongtaweechaiwattana / kohsija
A color-and-number matching card game with stacked penalties, Thai language support, CPU opponents and local pass-and-play.
Chaos Cards, by kohsija, credited as Suwat Pongtaweechaiwattana, asks players to match a color or number and empty their hand. Special cards and stacked penalties add the twist, giving each turn more to consider than finding a matching color.

Stacked draw penalties can quickly change the rhythm of the table. A turn may involve choosing between shrinking your hand and keeping a useful response for an opponent. Pastel colors and cheerful characters frame the table, while symbols distinguish each color without relying on color alone.
The developer lists Bomb, Trap, Shield, Mirror and Storm cards, plus a 7 rule that swaps hands with another player and a 0 rule that rotates hands around the table. Players must also call CHAOS when down to their last card. These mechanics make saving a defensive card for later an interesting option.

The game offers CPU matches and Pass & Play on one shared device, with two to four total participants; the developer says humans and CPUs can be mixed. Choose a single round or a race to 200 or 500 points, in Thai or English. The multiplayer described here is local, not online.
The game is free to play in a browser on itch.io. The developer describes support for computers, tablets and phones using mouse, touch or keyboard, and discloses AI assistance with code, graphics, sounds and text.
This first look covers early solo play against the CPU; Pass & Play and the additional special rules are described from the developer’s information.
