Critter Clash
By Andy Verkoelen
A turn-based browser throwing game with angle and charge controls, limited x2 and bomb items, and three Solo bot difficulties. No signup is needed.
Critter Clash is a turn-based throwing game for the browser. A cat and a dog face each other across a backyard, with players setting the angle and charging each throw. The colorful cartoon scene and visible health bars make the match easy to follow.

Set the angle, charge and release
Choose Solo and a bot difficulty to start without signing up. On a computer, adjust the angle with the slider or up and down keys, then hold Space to charge and release it to throw. A hit reduces the opponent’s health, and the bot throws back before control returns to the player.
When to use special items
The game shows a wind indicator. The in-game instructions say wind affects the projectile’s path and that a fully charged throw cancels its effect.
The x2 button starts with two uses, while the bomb has one. Both can be selected for the same throw, and their counters drop after release. These limited supplies leave a choice between using them early and saving them until the aim feels right.

For players who enjoy judging a throw
Critter Clash suits players who enjoy adjusting angle and power one turn at a time. Solo offers three bot difficulties. Easy is a sensible starting point for learning the throwing controls.
