Cyber Spire

By Suphawit Arm Fongon

A roguelike deck-building game where four students climb a digital tower. Choose paths and combine cards to find the way home.

Cyber Spire is a deck-building roguelike that tells the story of four students trapped in a collapsing digital world. They must climb a mysterious tower to find their way home. Along the way, they must adjust their deck and use limited resources to survive each round's enemies.

Choose a path up the tower

The map is divided into interconnected nodes with multiple paths, featuring battles, high-level enemies, mystery events, heat-dissipation points, and the DarkWeb market. Each round randomly generates areas and enemies, so players must decide which nodes to traverse before encountering the boss.

Organize the deck from common cards and character cards.

The deck-building system includes a search bar, sorting options, and buttons to select usable cards. The demo example features Strike.exe for attacking and Firewall.sh for building a shield. The creator designed it to use both generic cards and character-specific cards to build combos, while also reading the enemy's intent to plan for each turn.
