Owlchemy Labs Announced on September 14, 2026 Dimensional Double Shift will add a single-player mode in the first half of 2027. Players will start their shifts alongside robotic coworkers called T.E.M.P.s. This mode is still in development.

The mode follows requests from players who want to join a shift without coordinating a full team. Owlchemy says it will allow practicing tasks, experimenting, or playing at one's own pace, with T.E.M.P.s keeping the shift moving.

The colleague system uses the Behavior Engine of Artificial Agency. The company says players can ask for help naturally, and robots will interpret requests, coordinate, and act within Owlchemy's defined roles and limits.

Artificial Agency states that it uses a model trained specifically for this game, combined with a separate reactive system that responds immediately, distinct from decisions requiring more time to deliberate. The robot's personality and role were designed by Owlchemy, which prepares to launch additional details within 2026.
