EQUILIBRIUM fixes economy and parliament figures; AI questions no longer advance game time

September-end patch for the country-management game via text commands: adjusts reserves, elections, and per-turn reports, separating completed fixes from ongoing AI development.
EQUILIBRIUM released a patch dated September 27, 2026, to fix economic figures and election results in the country management simulation game that receives commands via text messages. The changes cover the number of parliamentary seats, reserves, and pre- and post-turn reports.

The developer has fixed an issue where the total number of seats exceeded the size of the parliament, and has ensured that the government displayed on the coalition page matches the election results. The presidential and single-party system will maintain the government in its own format, while also fixing a bug that increased financial risk values after elections in games using languages other than English.
Consult an advisor without the game clock ticking.
On the economic side, reserves will no longer be negative; if usage exceeds the available amount, the difference becomes debt. The regular turn report displays GDP, debt-to-GDP ratio, and reserves before and after the turn. The chart's front graph uses separate scales for GDP and debt, and uses the currency of the country being played.

Another point affecting the decision is that typing questions in the Command Terminal does not advance the calendar, so players can consult advisors before issuing orders. The developers also removed the waiting period built into the system and fixed the display of the analysis table and diplomatic records.
AI interprets policies under game rules
EQUILIBRIUM requires policies to be written in plain language, then analyzed via the Claude API for feasibility, budget impact, and simulated parliamentary voting outcomes based on Steam descriptions. AI-generated numerical values are constrained within the game's defined system ranges. The game is currently in Early Access; developers have stated that upcoming work will focus on improving the AI's ability to handle major reforms and ensuring that analysis text aligns with actual in-game numbers.
