FarmRug: Grow crops, care for animals and explore a Thai village
By Undervector First
Undervector First’s browser farming game starts without registration and brings together crop beds, animals and a village to explore. Here is what we observed while trying version 0.7.
FarmRug, also titled ฟาร์มรักบ้านเรา, is a browser farming simulation that places crop beds, animal enclosures and a wooden house in one garden. Players gather produce, plant the next crop and care for animals before visiting the village market. Creator Undervector First shared it with AI Game Dev Thailand in the original post to invite playtesting and feedback.

Harvest, then choose the next crop
The start screen offers a “Start playing” button and says registration is not required. During our desktop-browser trial, GameSlash entered the farm and harvested carrots from a crop bed. We then planted another carrot crop, which reduced the in-game coin balance from 450 to 447.
The planting menu offers carrots, fragrant rice, corn and tomatoes, with different seed prices and waiting times. The loop involves choosing a crop and returning to harvest it. The game explains that players can click or tap the ground to walk, or use W A S D and the arrow keys.
Animal care is more than waiting for produce
Opening the buffalo-care panel reveals separate fullness, happiness and health meters. In our test, petting the buffalo increased its happiness, and collecting fresh milk added produce to the inventory. The basket showed one unit of fresh milk after collection, alongside selling prices for individual items.
This gives players tasks to alternate between the crop beds and animal enclosures. Beyond food and water controls, the menus offer health-care and animal-management options to explore without having to handle everything at the beginning.
Visit the village while crops grow
GameSlash travelled from the farm to Ban Rak village. Its market scene contains shops, characters and entrances to different locations. The travel menu also lists Ban Rak shopping centre, the village office, a police station and a veterinary clinic.

In the original post, the creator also describes decorating and expanding the farm, hiring workers, visiting friends’ farms, sending gifts and trading items. Those multiplayer details come from the creator’s description, not a GameSlash multiplayer test.
Who it suits and how to start
FarmRug suits players who enjoy choosing small farm tasks, such as growing vegetables, caring for animals and exploring a village. The creator says it is free to play in mobile and computer browsers. Our trial used a desktop browser without registering an account.
The game remains in development. The page checked on 20 October 2026 showed version 0.7, so systems and details may change. Start at the FarmRug website.
