Gate UP!

By Teeraphat Henghasoon

Defend a bunker with auto-firing heroes while managing skills, card sets, Perks and run resources, then explore Endless, World Boss and PvP.

Your hero fires; you build the run

Gate Up places a hero on a bunker, automatically firing at monsters emerging from a gate. Your decisions concern skills, upgrades, cards and shopping rather than aiming every shot. The official battle-screen illustration brings the battlefield, abilities and card slots together: building your setup happens while the defense is underway.

Each stage uses one of 15 heroes, with STR, DEX or INT specialties and different skills. Q/W/E activate abilities; the guide also describes double-clicking to enable auto-casting. A main stage has five four-minute waves, each ending with a boss.

Cards form sets; Perks add another choice

Chosen field cards occupy slots and award set bonuses when a collection is complete. The wiki image shows a glowing card pile after a cleared wave, signaling an available pick. That opportunity raises a choice: strengthen an existing combination or address a weakness.

Perks are separate, offering one of three choices after every 1,000 kills. They can provide temporary power or summon special enemies for resources. Card bags from the shop let you move cards into storage when slots fill.

Three resources, three different jobs

Silver buys run-shop items, Wood pays for card choices and Blood upgrades the hero. These resources and field cards disappear when the stage ends, making spending decisions specific to the current run.

The changing shop stock includes card tickets, bags, potions and stat books. Six equipment slots and hero collecting provide a separate layer of longer-term growth, distinct from the resources spent during a stage.

Continue into Endless or switch to PvP

After winning a stage, Resume leads to Endless. There are no further level-ups, shop purchases, card picks or Perks there, so the prepared setup matters. World Boss instead measures damage against other players’ scores; the guide describes a boss that does not die.

Creator Teeraphat Henghasoon’s video also shows a three-versus-three PvP battlefield. That scene presents a different setting for the heroes beyond defending the bunker against monster waves, without implying one build suits every mode.

Browser access during CBT

Gate Up supports phone and PC browsers, with a Windows download also offered. Guilds and a market extend play beyond stages, although market access has account and entitlement requirements and is unavailable to Guest accounts.

The game remains in testing: data may change or reset under its terms. Guest progress is browser-bound, so link an account before clearing browser data. Consult the official guide, enter through the main website, and see PvP in the creator’s video.
