GTMF 2026 reveals AI game-development sessions on 3D, coding and facial animation

By GameSlash

The newly published program includes Meshy, GS2-Studio with Claude Code or Codex, and AI facial animation, ahead of December events in Osaka and Tokyo.

GTMF 2026 published its session schedule and booth maps on October 30, 2026, including talks on AI-generated 3D assets, coding agents and facial animation. The announcement gives game developers concrete sessions to plan around ahead of the December event. The organizer's release lists the program.

AI sessions focus on production workflows

Meshy's session covers integrating AI-generated 3D into game production. Game Server Services will discuss implementing network features with GS2-Studio and Claude Code or Codex. Speech Graphics will address AI-assisted facial animation for localized versions while retaining creative control.

These are scheduled presentations, rather than announcements that the tools have just launched. Some sessions are still being finalized, so the organizer advises checking the current program.

Osaka on December 2, Tokyo on December 8

The Osaka event takes place at Knowledge Capital Congress Convention Center; Tokyo follows at Akihabara UDX. Exhibition and seminar admission is free with advance registration. The planned after-party is a separate paid event. See the official GTMF site for venue schedules and registration.
