Magic Caster

Magic Caster is a top-down action game where you draw symbols to cast spells at monsters, while simultaneously moving to dodge bullets scattered across the battlefield. The pixel art and symbols above enemies display both attack timing and areas to avoid on the same screen.

Draw your spells in time, then find a gap to dodge

The Necrocaster boss scene features purple energy projectiles spreading outward in a circular pattern around the boss, requiring players to constantly scan for escape routes while casting symbols to attack. As the arena becomes crowded with bullets, choosing a standing position becomes as critical as casting spells in time.

Stages, bosses, and score modes

The game has campaign and boss battles, plus Endless and Bosses modes with competitive leaderboards. You can collect spells, wands, and pets to improve your abilities as you play. Inferna's arena uses fire-themed colors and orange projectiles, unlike Necrocaster's stage.

Play on PC via Steam

Magic Caster is available on Steam since June 20, 2024. It is a buy-to-play game for Windows and supports single-player. It is suitable for those who enjoy bullet-hell games and want to try a symbol-drawing attack system.
