ManaRA: Gemlink Tactics
By Guojing Julasueb
Build a hero party and swap gems to fight monsters. We tried a match, gained shields, enabled Full auto and saw Bladestorm during the first wave.
Choose a party and turn gem matches into combat actions. ManaRA: Gemlink Tactics places a gem board below the enemies, with heroes and ultimate meters underneath. GameSlash tried the starting party of Ravena, Silas, Elvia and Bruno in the meadow stage.

Swap gems and watch the result
The guide explains swapping adjacent gems to match three or more on an 8×8 board. Our manual swap produced a 13-damage critical hit and 20 shields. The Goblin’s HP fell from 140 to 127, while Elvia and Bruno’s ultimate meters reached 18%.
We then enabled Full auto and saw Ravena use Bladestorm. The recorded combat showed 95 damage with nine absorbed by the enemy shield, followed by the ultimate meter resetting to zero. We paused during wave 1/4, without clearing the stage or returning to the Tavern to collect loot.

Battle dialogue gives the party a voice
Character and enemy exchanges appeared during play. This matches the creator’s announcement of dialogue in the Tavern, within the party and during combat.
The creator describes relationship gains and dialogue-triggered buffs or debuffs as future ideas, not features we tested. Our session focused on one manual match followed by automatic combat, offering an early look at the combination of gem puzzles and a hero party.
