Mekha Online: First quest, slime combat and the power tree

By GameSlash

A hands-on look at the opening through level 6, with genuine gameplay screenshots, quest navigation, AUTO combat and guest-account cautions.

Mekha Online is a browser-based online RPG that starts with small jobs at camp before sending you out to fight monsters, collect loot and earn character-development points. GameSlash played on 4 November 2026 using a character named GameSlash, starting at level 1 and reaching level 6 after turning in the first quest. The session used both quest navigation and the game’s built-in auto-combat system. A World Boost of ×5 EXP and ×5 drops was active during this session, so progression may differ when the boost is inactive.

Athibet Chaiharwong introduced the game in the original post on 2 November 2026, announcing a Public Test. This article covers the opening section we played, rather than every class or the endgame.

A missing flute leads out of camp

The character starts as an Adventurer even though character creation lets you preview paths such as Knight. The game says class changing comes at level 10. Previewing Knight therefore does not make the starting character a Knight.

Grandpa Thara’s first task, Jelly Wreaks Havoc in the Forest, asks you to defeat eight slimes and recover his flute. The destination is near the wooden bridge in Whispering Forest. The quest-tracker navigation button, or Y, sends the character toward the objective, making the opening route easy to follow.

Fighting slimes, using a potion and trying AUTO

The combat HUD places HP, SP and action slots along the bottom. GameSlash used Q to drink a Red Potion and enabled AUTO through the HUD. The system engaged slimes while quest counters and collected items updated during play. The game’s terms explicitly permit its built-in auto-combat feature.

The session completed all eight slime kills and recovered the flute. We then switched AUTO off and returned to Grandpa Thara. The game confirmed quest completion, awarding 40 EXP and 40 G, with the character reaching level 6. The combat screenshot below was captured at level 5, after the main quest objective had changed to returning to the NPC.

The power tree invites further planning

Opening the Hidden Power Tree with P reveals paths branching out from the center. The character had five points available after the first quest. No nodes had been selected when this screenshot was captured, so it shows the layout rather than evidence that one build is stronger than another.

The opening loop is clear: accept a task, hunt, collect loot, then consider how to develop the character. For players who enjoy gradually shaping a build, this tree offers something to explore next. Later classes and long-term balance were outside the scope of this session.

Before playing as a guest

Open Mekha Online and choose Play as Guest. This session required neither an email address nor a password. The game’s terms described the game as free with no payments at the time of this check.

A guest account is tied to that browser on that device. Signing out or clearing browser data before binding the account prevents returning to those characters. Players intending to continue should read the progress-retention conditions first.
