Ai's Aquarium [Demo]

By Mayta Noynon [Dev. INut]

Raising glowing fish, collecting coins, decorating tanks, and dealing with intruders in an experimental fish-keeping game on itch.io. Includes a save code system to continue playing your tank.

Ai's Aquarium [Demo] starts with an empty tank. Players buy fish, feed them, and collect coins to add more. Mayta Noynon, also known as Dev. INut, created it from childhood memories of fish-keeping games, returning to make an aquarium of their own.

Earn coins to bring your tank to life

The shop next to the fish tank separates decorations, food, and items into different categories. Each type of fish has a different price and income generation rate, so you must decide whether to save money to buy more fish or take care of the ones you already have. The creator's image reveals strange-looking, glowing fish in a dark blue tank.

Food contributes to fish growth, while the buff cards appearing in the tank provide temporary effects such as faster swimming or increased income. Meanwhile, enemies invade, requiring you to press to repel them. The gameplay thus alternates between feeding the fish and ensuring the tank's security.

Save the save code to continue playing.

The save game menu allows you to copy the save code or download the file for storage, then load it back into the game load menu to continue playing. For those who want to collect fish and decorate their tank over time, it is recommended to save your game before closing the game page.

The game is accessible via a browser on itch.io and remains a work-in-progress demo. The creator notes that AI was used to generate images from their own sketches. Those who enjoy animal-keeping games that gradually populate a small area might want to check out this fish collection.
