Novicia Online is a browser-based pixel MMORPG focused on monster hunting, leveling up, and choosing a class. The journey begins at Novicia Town, a plaza featuring a fountain, shops, and NPCs surrounding the square.

Start playing as a Guest in Novicia Town

GameSlash entered the game via the Guest button without requiring a name or login. The game assigns a name automatically and begins with three pages of control instructions. After completing the tutorial, we can actually move around the fountain area using the keyboard. Surrounding us are nurses, warehouse staff, and NPCs that reset status values.

Press I to open the bag immediately. The window is divided into categories: items, equipment, other items, and materials, along with a search bar. In the character's bag, there is one unopened new player box at the start of this trial.

Choose a profession and go hunt monsters

The official guide states that all characters begin as Novice and can choose their first job at Job Lv.10, such as Swordman, Mage, or Archer. Before advancing to the second job, players distribute status points themselves to determine the character's build.

The website also recommends boss-hunting parties and EXP sharing, as well as equipment enhancement and monster card insertion. This trial run is currently taking place in the town and at the inventory screen, so combat and party systems have not yet been tested.
