By PROJECT: GATEKEEPER

A browser hunter RPG with dungeons, party combat, timed System quests and an AI companion. Access requires the player’s own Gemini API key.

PROJECT: GATEKEEPER is a browser RPG about hunters entering Gates, clearing dungeons and preparing for the Black Dragon King’s invasion. Its official guide combines party combat, equipment progression and timed System quests with an AI companion that offers advice based on the character’s current situation.

Build a hunter, then explore a Gate

According to the official guide, a new hunter answers five interview questions that determine a class and initial stats. The early route is to buy supplies, travel from the world map and enter a dungeon. Auto explore, auto descend and return-when-done options reduce repeated navigation, while private and party dungeons offer a boss-hunting option.

Combat and long-term progression

Entering a monster room starts combat with everyone present. Turns run every three seconds; players can choose skills, potions, fleeing and aggressive, balanced or defensive stances. Progression includes stat allocation, ten equipment slots, crafting, rune sockets, enhancement and class changes. Parties support up to five hunters, with private expeditions alongside public dungeon raids.

System quests add a deadline

The shared screenshot shows an actual System quest: defeat a Gate boss within the displayed time limit to receive stat points and CP. The guide says these forced quests occur at progression milestones and cannot be refused; failure sends the character to a temporary Penalty Zone. This gives advancement a time-pressure element beyond ordinary dungeon farming.

Access requirements

The current login screen requires the player’s own Gemini API key and treats it as the hunter ID. This is not a guest-play game: access and the AI companion depend on that key and its quota. No key was entered for this introduction, and no dungeon playtest is claimed. The gameplay description comes from the official guide, while the image is a publicly shared in-game screenshot.
