Quest Me Later
By GameSlash
A 2.5D anime MMORPG built around creator-described weapon-use progression without class changes. Its PC-focused Development Test includes progress wipes.
Quest Me Later is a 2.5D anime-style MMORPG that Jump Larpjongprasert describes around a single character being able to use every weapon type without changing classes. According to the creator, proficiency develops through using a weapon frequently, allowing players to change their approach through weapon choice.
Developing a character through weapon use
The creator lists four weapon types: sword, bow, staff and book, with single-weapon and dual-wield options. Advertised systems also include parties, guilds, a central market, farming, bosses and PvP.
A PC-focused development test with progress wipes
The game is in Development Test. The creator recommends PC as the primary platform and says mobile play still stutters during development. The small server has limited capacity and may restart frequently for updates and fixes.
Test progress is not permanent. The creator’s post says levels and items will be wiped at Early Access, while the team’s Development Test notice says all test data, including characters, levels, items, currency and guilds, will be deleted at official launch.
The observed Guest-account information states that data is irrecoverably deleted after more than 24 hours of inactivity and cannot be transferred to a Google account. Trading, the central market, and creating or joining guilds are also restricted. Read the account and service terms before testing.
Character selection and getting started
The opening screens support Guest character creation and three character slots. The image below shows the level-1 GameSlash character created during inspection. Combat and weapon progression were not tested, so those system descriptions are drawn from the creator’s announcement.
