A turn-based strategy game against AI. Buy unit and building cards, position before combat, then manage territory, income, and honor for advantage.

Realm Stratagem: The King's Campaign for World Dominion is a turn-based strategy game against AI, combining card purchases with army placement on a board. Players divide resources between troops and buildings, then decide whether to pressure the opponent's fortifications or accumulate Prestige.

Bought cards and set up your army on the board

Each round features event phases, income collection, card purchasing, positioning, and combat. The market offers both units and buildings for selection, with cards displaying their price and abilities prior to purchase. Troops possess varying stats for health, attack power, and range, while buildings serve roles in generating income or supporting nearby units. Purchased cards must be deployed onto the board; buildings held in hand do not yet generate income.

The positioning phase is a critical decision point. Upon entering the combat phase, units will move toward targets and attack automatically. The results of engagements can be reviewed retrospectively through battle logs, which display damage dealt, flanking maneuvers, and missed shots due to forest cover. These details make board positioning more significant than simply selecting cards with high attack power alone.

Plan income alongside honor

The field is divided into the player's territory, the central zone, and the AI's side. Controlling territory and buildings contributes to income for the next round, while Prestige points are earned through cards and achievement conditions, such as capturing the central zone or accumulating structures. The rules allow for victory by destroying both of the enemy's Citadel towers or by accumulating enough prestige to reach the goal, offering strategic depth in both frontline combat and kingdom expansion.

Early-round events add conditions requiring plan adjustments. During testing, there were resource bonuses and rainstorms that reduced the attack power of long-range units for that round only. The pre-game screen displays latest income and projected income; if the board does not change, resource and honor data are separated for verification before making decisions.

Suitable for those who like reading rules and planning.

An interesting feature is how the market, economy, and military positions interact on a single board. The visuals primarily use symbols and numbers, with event logs helping to explain battle outcomes. The trade-off is that the information is quite dense, including multiple resource types, card abilities, and honor conditions, making it suitable for players who prefer to read carefully and plan turn by turn. This opinion is based on the early game through round three.
