Roblox expands Build to Serbia and Singapore, preparing to create scenes from text and images.

Roblox announced at RDC on September 11, 2026, that Build, which allows creating games from text commands, is expanding its public alpha from New Zealand to Serbia and Singapore, along with adding desktop support, an asset library, and iterative refinement tools.

The company stated that approximately 9,000 games from Build have been published, and 71% of game creators using Build had never used Roblox Studio before. Both figures refer to data as of September 1, 2026, per the announcement's notes.

Prepare to create a scene from the text and reference image.

Roblox has also revealed plans for a Scene Generator that accepts text prompts and reference images to create layouts, allowing creators to further refine them in Studio. The company has set a target for 2026 and is linking scene creation to both Build and Studio.

For creators in Thailand, check the activation status of each feature and regional permissions before proceeding. Roblox states that availability may vary by age and region. The Scene Generator in this announcement is still a planned rollout.
