ROVEBORN
By ROVEBORN
Survive in an online pixel world where hunger, water, warmth and nearby settlements matter. Start as a Guest, customize a character and learn gathering, crafting and exploration.
You arrive in ordinary clothes with a few starting items, but castles, forests, settlements and ongoing events already surround you. ROVEBORN is a top-down survival game that begins with basics such as gathering wood, eating and drinking before deciding where to explore or settle. Watching health alone is not enough: hunger, water and warmth matter too.
First steps beside the castle
We created a Guest named GameSlash using the hair-style, hair-colour and skin-tone options, entered the world and took a short walk. Our capture shows a castle-side area with trees, rocks, a minimap and the first wood-gathering tutorial: follow the arrow to a tree and press E. A stone axe and torch occupied the initial hotbar in this session. We did not complete gathering, combat or a quest.

Hunger and water fell while we read the guide, showing that opening a menu does not necessarily pause the world. The guide recommends E at the water's edge to drink, food for gradual health recovery, and a fire or clothing for warmth, particularly at night and in snowy areas.
Gather, craft and choose a direction
Desktop controls use WASD to walk, Shift to run, E to gather or talk and B for the inventory. The guide lists clicking or Space to attack, R to dodge-roll and X to sit. Mobile controls use an on-screen stick and action buttons. Crafting, skills and social menus sit alongside guide topics covering farming, cooking, guilds, settlements, homes and relationships. These are documented systems, not a claim that we tested them all.
The entry screen offers a Guest character tied to this device, with optional Google linking later for cross-device access. Our sample used no Google account, purchase or player combat. This introduction draws directly on ROVEBORN's current game interface and in-game guide.
This game is hosted on its creator’s website. gameslash collects information and links to help you discover games.
