Visual Novel

Sahasabuppha

By Thanit Anantasomboon

A browser visual novel reviving older designs, with four completed chapters and a call for testers in its introduction post.

Sahasabuppha is a browser visual novel built from designs that had been set aside for almost twenty years. Its 11 October 2026 introduction says four chapters are complete and invites people to try the game while work continues on its systems and story.

Returning to older designs

The creator uses earlier concept art and character designs as references alongside ChatGPT. Music production uses ChatGPT and SUNO, including assisted lyrics, newly composed melodies and new versions of the creator's older songs. For code, ChatGPT provides suggestions and debugging help, with the creator writing and revising the implementation.

Before reading

In a brief check of Chapter 1, “สาวใช้ใต้เมืองสีซีด,” on 11 October 2026, the opening could be read in a browser without signing in. The story begins with humanity sheltering behind a great defensive wall, 55 years after a night of betrayal. A muted apartment corridor frames Thai narration, with a next-text button and AUTO, SKIP, audio and hide-text controls.

The site offers sign-in for saving reading progress. Its table of contents lists six chapter titles, but Chapters 2–6 appeared locked in this session; that does not establish six immediately playable chapters. The creator’s announcement still provides the dated claim that four chapters are complete, with systems under development and testers welcome.
