Saming Night

By NonDev

Hidden Role Card Game in a village in the forest. At night, the tiger demon hunts. During the day, everyone votes to find the culprit. Add bots when the player count is insufficient.

Saming Night is a hidden-role card game where players try to find a shapeshifting tiger spirit hiding in their village. Each role uses its abilities at night. During the day, everyone identifies suspects and votes to expel them.

GameSlash tried playing two rounds in a private room with 4 bots. The game deals cards to players sitting around a campfire in a pixel art village. You can see your own cards, but other players' hands remain hidden.

The tiger spirit’s night

In the round where the player receives the tiger-spirit role, the screen transitions to the hunting phase. Other players display a "eyes closed" status, and a prey selection menu with a "Don't Hunt Tonight" button appears below. Each phase is governed by a countdown timer.

Vote and reveal the role

By midday, all four bots voted to expel GameSlash from the village. The game revealed GameSlash’s tiger-spirit role. The round ended with the villagers' victory. The results screen displayed each player's role and listed the sequence of events for review.

The game page states that it supports 5 to 12 people per group, allows creating a room or joining with a room code, and enables adding bots when the group is not full.
