A Thai horror game set in Grandma Kham’s house, with rituals to lay a spirit to rest and co-op repairs to escape. Version 1.17 adds energy, injuries, item sharing, and a shared map, with an Android prototype available.

SAPPHAROT is a Thai horror game by Jaruwat Anekthanasuwan, published under the name EsportB7 on itch.io. Players search for items, complete tasks, and try to survive in Grandma Kham’s house. Version 1.17 includes a story about laying a spirit to rest and a cooperative escape mode. An Android prototype is currently available to download.

Uncover Grandma Kham’s story or find the equipment to escape

Story Mode has players find clues and items for a ritual to lay Grandma Kham’s spirit to rest. Survivors changes the goal to gathering equipment to repair an escape route. A repaired car can take two players out of the area, while repairing the radio station lets the team call the police to rescue everyone.

The limited seats mean the team needs to decide what to repair together. Players searching for items need to know both what is missing and which exit the team is preparing. Searching the haunted house for objects is central to both modes, but their objectives differ.

Drinking water, injuries, and when to hide

Version 1.17 requires players to manage energy by finding drinking water while exploring. Attacks cause injuries that slow the character down, and a character can withstand three hits. Carrying something for protection is another part of preparing. Weapons are used to attack the ghost, while a pocketknife or sharp object can be kept for use when grabbed.

The flashlight has narrow and wide beams for exploring. Hiding includes a breath-holding system, and the developer warns that staying hidden for more than 30 seconds carries a risk. Players need to choose when to leave cover and continue their tasks.

Share items and use a shared map

Collected items can be dropped on the ground for teammates to pick up and use. The board in front of Grandma Kham’s house offers another way to coordinate. Once a found map is placed on it, everyone can open the map tab to see teammates’ positions in real time and the locations of quest items lying in the area.

The October 10, 2026 update post describes two implemented co-op setups: four players against a game-controlled ghost, or three players against a ghost controlled by another player. Expanding rooms to six slots and letting another player take over hosting when the host disconnects remain development plans.

For groups who enjoy searching haunted houses together

SAPPHAROT may suit players who want a Thai horror game to play with friends and enjoy dividing up exploration duties. Item sharing and the central map show how cooperation fits into the game, while injuries and hiding add constraints during the search for supplies.

At the time of the check, itch.io listed the game as a Prototype and offered SAPPHAROT_Android_v1.17_Ritual.apk at about 119 MB. It is an Android download, not a game that runs directly on the web page. The developer’s instructions also state that co-op requires an internet connection. Interested players should expect a work in progress whose systems may change.
