Sian Dummy
By Thanapat Chaumthong / NewSance Game
A free browser version of Thai rummy with computer rivals, five Bangkok district challenges and a shared daily deal. No real money or chips.
A meld you put down can give your opponent another way to score. Sian Dummy by NewSance Game brings Thai rummy to the browser with a late-night eatery backdrop, computer rivals and district challenges around Bangkok. The game states that it is free, with no real money or chips.

One meld can change the next turn
GameSlash tried Quick Match against Min from Ari on Easy, in the first round of a three-round match. Drawing the seven of clubs let us select the six, seven and eight of clubs and meld them for 15 table points. We then discarded the queen of spades.
Min picked up the ace of diamonds head card, melded three aces and laid the nine of clubs onto our run. Table points became 15 to 100. This showed why watching discards and exposed melds matters alongside arranging your own hand. We did not finish the round or match.

Draw, meld, lay off and discard
Start a turn by drawing or picking up from the discards. Meld three or more cards of the same rank or a consecutive same-suit run, and lay cards off onto existing melds. Discard one card to end your turn. Picking up a discard also takes the cards after it, and the picked card must be melded immediately.
Quick matches or district challenges
Quick Match lets you choose a rival, difficulty and round count. District Challenge features five district bosses from Ari to Thonglor. Daily Dummy uses the same deal for everyone that day. The game opens without an account and provides Thai and English menus, instructions, house rules and a sound toggle.
