Archerfish Adventure · Suea Phon Nam Prototype
By Prachya Klom-arrom
A limited hands-on look at Prachya Klom-arrom’s archerfish prototype: canal movement, water-control response, pause/resume and the four-branch skill-tree menu.
ปลาเสือผจญภัย (Archerfish Adventure) is Prachya Klom-arrom’s test title for a game that puts the player in the role of a small archerfish rather than a fisher. The zmosaica itch.io page identifies Build Ver.0.2, while the runtime calls itself “เสือพ่นน้ำ · Prototype” (Suea Phon Nam Prototype). The creator has not settled on a permanent title. Our October 15, 2026 test reached the backyard canal and verified control of the fish.
Swimming beneath the fishing hooks
The opening scene places waterfront houses, fishers, bait and a bird above the water, with the player fish below and meters for HP, energy and satiety. Brief held D and A inputs visibly moved the fish. J, labelled by the game as the water-spitting control, produced an energy response; we did not verify a hit on an enemy or insect.

Escape opened the pause menu and Resume returned to play. A bird caught the fish during the test, and Space continued the game. This verified an actual hazard and return to play, but not successful avoidance of every hazard type.
Inspecting four skill branches
Tab opened character development, with branches for senses, movement, survival and water spitting. The character was still level 1 with no skill points. We verified the menu and its displayed structure, without unlocking or measuring individual upgrades.

Real bait, fake bait and escaping the hook
In the source post, the creator describes reversing the fishing-game perspective: the fish judges bait by smell and responds to hooks with a timed parry or a struggle to escape. He also describes water attacks, enemies, bosses, a shop and a four-stage route from the backyard canal to mangroves. These are the creator’s stated systems, not a list of features fully tested here.
The tested runtime header says “zones 1–2”, while the introduction post describes four stages. We only tested the backyard canal and cannot establish that all four are currently accessible. The current visuals are temporary 2D art, and the creator says both systems and artwork remain in development.
Test scope and development source
This check covered starting, left/right swimming, the J control’s response, pausing and resuming, a bird hazard and opening the skill tree. Boss or stage completion, full parry/hook-struggle testing, shopping, upgrades and mobile play remain untested. The creator explicitly says AI was used to make the project.
