Tales at War
By แชงจ์ เลอร์
Organize decks, position heroes, and choose the right moment to destroy Terrain in a card game currently in PC beta testing.
Tales at War is a card game where you build a deck and place units onto the battlefield. Characters like Hanuman have both skills and their own ultimate moves. The goal of the battle is to destroy the opponent's Terrain. The game is currently in open beta testing on PC.
Prepare deck and set up board
Starting with a 30-card deck, select one Terrain card from the randomly generated options. Before battle begins, place the Terrain and Hero into separate slots on your side; movement is still possible at this stage. The field preparation image shows Hanuman paired with Bridge to Lanka, along with the cards in hand ready for use in the next turn.

Choose to move or attack each turn.
Playing an Ally card costs Essence equal to the value on the card. Each unit can perform one action per turn. Whether moving one space or attacking, you must choose an action appropriate to the unit's position. A unit that has just entered the battlefield cannot perform either action, unless a card effect allows it.
Attacks are both melee and ranged; shooting across units reduces damage, so you must consider attack lines alongside your own terrain defense. Heroes that are eliminated return to your hand after waiting two turns of your side, and you must pay Essence to deploy them again.
Test Status and Access
Access via web on PC and log in before playing. The developer does not yet support mobile devices during this test period and notes that errors or limitations may occur when there are many concurrent players.
