Anthropic's coding assistant reads projects, edits files and runs commands to help implement game systems, fix bugs and write tests.
Claude Code works across project files to explain code, implement features, debug problems and write tests. It can assist with game code, but it is not a complete game-making application. Follow the official installation guide and use the terminal or a supported coding environment. Open your project folder, describe a bounded task and its constraints, review the changes, then test them in your engine. Additional tools can be connected through MCP. A supported account and access method are required; costs and usage limits depend on your plan or provider. Configure project permissions and review commands before approving them. Generated code still needs testing, including gameplay, performance and security checks.
