Veylora: A Novice’s first town and the path to a new job

By Nuttpong Kam

A fantasy browser RPG in testing on PC, with town exploration, equipment menus and job-change goals for a starting Novice.

Veylora is a browser-based fantasy RPG that begins with a Novice character in a town centred on a fountain. Creator Nuttpong Kam describes it as an MMORPG intended for long-term levelling and is inviting players to help test it. The game may still have numerous bugs. The creator currently recommends a PC browser while mobile support is being fixed.

Explore town as a Novice

Guest mode enters the town with a chosen character name. The character starts at level 1, with HP, SP and Job Level displayed separately. Movement works through both keyboard input and clicking a position on the ground. NPCs occupy different parts of town, with a minimap in the upper-right corner to help locate the character. Small, stylised characters, red-roofed buildings and stone plazas give the town a familiar fantasy RPG look.

An on-screen notice says Guest characters are stored in the browser and invites players to register. This mode provides a way to start exploring the town, although anyone planning to keep playing should read the character-storage notice first.

Inventory and equipment share one window

The inventory places the character and equipment slots on the left, with stored items on the right. Tabs separate consumables, equipment, costumes and general items, alongside a search field and sorting options. The bottom of the window displays current weight and carrying capacity, keeping equipped items and storage in view together.

Job changes have Base and Job requirements

Speaking to the sword trainer opens a job-change window. It lists Job Level 10 for the first tier, and Base Level 60 plus Job Level 50 and a test quest for the second. The swordsman description emphasises high HP and powerful, wide-area attacks. The checked character was still at Job Level 1, so the test-quest button was unavailable. These displayed requirements establish character-development goals early on.

For players curious about an RPG in development

The opening provides a look at town exploration, inventory management and the requirements for a future job change. It is suited to players who enjoy exploring RPG character systems and are comfortable trying a game still being revised. The creator accepts feedback inside the game to inform further development.

This hands-on check covered entering town, movement, the inventory and job-change requirements. It did not reach combat or levelling, so the levelling pace, balance and multiplayer experience remain unassessed. A PC browser is the place to start under the creator’s current guidance.
