Warrior of Shadows
By FunFunGames
A source-based introduction to FunFunGames’ 2D turn-based game, its Beta status and an earlier login-screen capture. Combat has not been tested.
Warrior of Shadows is a 2D turn-based game focused on clearing stages and developing your character. Peter Poxs’ Web Test V.1 post describes the core loop: fight, collect money and items, level up, then upgrade skills or equipment to return to a stage you could not clear. This introduction draws on creator information and an entry-screen check; combat has not been tested.

Collect loot from stages and bosses
According to the Web Test V.1 details, rare items with purple and gold borders come from bosses at major stages spaced ten stages apart, from stage 10 to 90. If players cannot clear the next stage, they can return to earlier stages to level up, find equipment to wear, or sell items to fund character improvements.
Equipment enhancement raises stats such as attack, health, defense, and critical hit. The post also mentions a PvP Arena that randomly matches opponents of similar rank, along with rooms for playing with friends. In the version covered by that post, swordsman was the only class, with a choice of gender.
The browser version has changed since the first post
FunFunGames’ official page checked on October 16, 2026 is titled Web Test Beta v.2.6.61 and lists the game as in development. The image in this article was captured on October 14, when the itch.io page still said Beta v.2.6.38 and the embedded game displayed Alpha Test Account. These labels, and Web Test V.1 in the older post, should not be treated as interchangeable. The systems above describe the announced version, rather than confirming that every detail remains unchanged in the latest build.
The official itch.io page discloses AI assistance for Code, Graphics, Sounds and Text, and lists Godot as the engine. This is the developer’s disclosure; see FunFunGames’ game page
For players who enjoy fine-tuning equipment
The creator’s stage-and-equipment loop may appeal to players who enjoy adjusting a character before trying a boss again. During the October 14 check, the game reached WARRIOR OF SHADOWS ONLINE with LOGIN and REGISTER buttons and no visible Guest option. The check stopped before signing in, so combat, progression, Arena, playing with friends and mobile play remain untested.
