World of Pixalia

By Kanasak Payomthon

A browser-based pixel-art fantasy MMORPG with several classes for hunting monsters and a private floating island for growing crops and decorating a home.

World of Pixalia is a pixel-art fantasy MMORPG playable in a browser on computers and mobile devices. Developer Kanasak Payomthon says it draws inspiration from classic RO, building a world that combines monster hunting with a private island where players can take a break from adventuring.

Classes and monster hunting

The launch announcement introduces 12 classes with different skills and more than 90 maps. The developer’s video shows snowy fields and volcanic areas, with large monsters, skill effects, and damage numbers during combat.

The developer also lists world bosses, PvP duels at the Colosseum, and an auto system. Groups planning a boss hunt should check the in-game schedule before starting, since the original announcement’s times were set for the server launch period.

A private island between hunting sessions

Another activity the developer introduces is a private floating island for growing crops and decorating a home. It offers a change of pace for players who want to tend their own space between leveling sessions. Those drawn to older MMORPGs may be more interested in choosing a class and exploring the maps.
