Spawn Point

By GameSlash

Build editable Godot projects for 2D prototypes using AI plans and a deterministic scene compiler.

What it helps with

Turn a 2D game idea into a Godot starting project. AI produces a JSON plan; a deterministic compiler validates the graph, assembles scenes through headless Godot and performs a smoke-run. Open project.godot to continue development.

Ways to use it

Install spawnpoint-studio from PyPI with pip install spawnpoint-studio. Requirements include Python 3.10+ and Godot 4.6; browser exports also need web export templates. Run spawnpoint setup --check to identify missing requirements. Choose a local model through Ollama or vLLM, or an OpenAI-compatible API.

Limitations

This is a prototyping starting point, not a release-ready-game guarantee. Review gameplay and output yourself. API-based workflows may incur charges and transmit data off the computer.
