Steam Audio
By Valve
Add directional audio, occlusion and reflections to games, with Unity, Unreal, FMOD and Wwise integrations.
Start in Unity: Import SteamAudio.unitypackage from steamaudio_unity.zip, select Steam Audio Spatializer in Project Settings > Audio and enable Spatialize on an Audio Source. Follow the guide to add source components and export acoustic geometry for environment effects.
Limits: Check the chosen integration's platform requirements. Reflections and reverb can be CPU-intensive, so profile the game and consider baking suitable static effects. Documentation reviewed; no audio or performance tests performed.
