UnrealSharp
By UnrealSharp contributors
Write Unreal Engine 5 Actors and gameplay in C#, with generated reflected-C++ bindings and C# hot reload.
Start: Setup currently lists UE 5.6–5.8, C++ build tools and the .NET 10.0 SDK (10.0.5+). Put UnrealSharp in the project’s Plugins folder and compile through an IDE to generate bindings.
Try: Open Unreal, choose Create C# Project and implement an Actor or ActorComponent. C# hot reload recompiles without restarting the editor.
Limits: Windows and Mac are supported; iOS, Android and Linux remain planned. A C++ project is recommended. The docs warn against compiling the plugin by opening .uproject because binaries can become stale.
