AI Roguelite adds a stack-based item merging system in the October 7, 2026 update, allowing a single item type to have a quantity greater than one. The system also provides item quantities to the AI as context and enables the AI to specify quantities when adding or removing items from the character, supporting both Specialized and Unified modes.

Items with the same name at Common or Uncommon rarity will stack automatically upon creation. Players can adjust the maximum applicable rarity in the Gameplay options. Another condition is that the original item or the newly created piece already has a quantity greater than one. Manual stacking applies to items with the same name and allows adjusting the stack quantity directly.

The same patch makes minor adjustments to the Sapphire and Obsidian story generation systems in Specialized mode, fixes TTS voice reading that sometimes skips text, and resolves abnormally slow downloads when the internet service provider does not support IPv6. The Dungeon Crawl mode has had leveling adjustments fixed for new regions, including the minimum and maximum level settings on the region details page.

Previously, the September 14 update added descriptions for options and scenario settings, updated translations for all languages, and re-enabled the legacy combat system. It also introduced party member reordering, along with action rewind, character customization, and item creation under the "Sandbox editing" label. The October update thus continues the ongoing refinements to settings and controls.
