Dual Ascent
By Ekkapong Saksrijalernying
A turn-based team-building game with automatic combat, randomized skill activations and two unit evolution paths.
Dual Ascent is a turn-based game about obtaining units through gacha and arranging a team to clear stages and fight bosses. Its test announcement describes automatic combat with RNG-driven skill activations, so players do not manually trigger skills during battles.

In the first two stages, combat advanced automatically without choosing attacks or manually triggering skills during turns. Player decisions sat in the preparation: assigning two monster helpers, upgrading the hero’s star rank and equipping a passive. Tutorial resources let these systems be tried early, establishing a loop of preparing the team and watching the result in combat.
Stage 1-1 ended in victory on turn 11. Stage 1-2, after helper and passive setup, ended on turn 8 and raised the hero to level 2, with EXP, gold and book-fragment rewards. These were two different encounters with the tested team, so the results do not establish build strength or long-term balance.

Unit evolution and battle modes
The post describes two evolution paths across three stages, plus Arena, Tower, Boss fight and Dungeon modes and randomized passive skills. Evolution paths and later modes were not tested in this first-two-stage session.
The test announcement, posted on October 10, 2026 at 23:39 (UTC+7), says art and graphics remain in development. It directs desktop players to the game link and recommends adding the game to a phone’s home screen for a full-screen landscape view.
