Realm of Dreams
By Jedsada Chaiwarin
Leave town for slime-filled forests, level up and develop your equipment in a top-down RPG inspired by classic leveling games. Browser testing is open without account registration.
Realm of Dreams brings leveling, item hunting, and equipment progression into a top-down RPG. Small characters and colorful scenery give its fantasy world an approachable feel. Behind the project is Jedsada Chaiwarin, a fan of Ragnarok Online, Yulgang, MU, and Seal who wants to make a game people can play when they have time without feeling they must keep pace with everyone else. (Game page, Creator’s introduction)

The opening section we tried begins in WOOD DREAM town before a warp point takes players to ป่าพิศดาร, a forest populated by slimes. Movement works through W A S D or clicking the ground; players can then select a monster and use the sword button to attack, with potions restoring health during combat. Leaving town, finding targets, and managing HP establish the play rhythm early on. (Play Realm of Dreams)

Systems beyond that opening section are described here from the creator’s account: they include equipment upgrades and shared map bosses, with drops divided according to players’ share of DPS. This adds a shared objective to the search for equipment, although the October 18, 2026 announcement says other players’ damage numbers are not yet visible. (Game concept, Boss details)
Several systems are still being added during testing: the October 18, 2026 announcement says parties, classes, and the marketplace are not yet ready. Players can choose a male or female character, and the creator says that choice will connect to future classes, giving male swordsmen and female archers as examples. (Creator’s status update)
Players can enter without registering an account. The game says character information, location, inventory, and equipment are automatically saved in the current browser, separately for up to three characters, so returning in the same browser is advisable. The creator also says players will be notified if a reset is needed during testing. (In-game save information, Testing announcement)
Jedsada uses Claude to help write the game’s systems and GPT image to create artwork and sprite sheets. He credits tools described as “Photo + Canva” for interface and map work, alongside his own graphic-design background. Players who enjoy gradually developing a character and want to try a project rooted in a love of leveling games can start at the Realm of Dreams page. (Development process)
